Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. She was just two years old when her mother left an abusive relationship. In 1995, she was returned into the world of Pickler and was granted custody. However it did not work out as planned. Pickler aged 12 was turned over to her parents through the Court. They took care of her until she reached adulthood. In the absence of their parents Pickler found herself too busy caring for her children. She said that because she didn't have time for study, she decided learning how to cook and tidy at an early stage. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of her high school and middle school. She graduated in 2004 North Stanly High School. Pickler was also a contestant in a beauty pageant. In the past, she was the title of Miss Stanly County.
